CuteCard doesn't collect any data. Not anonymously, not "to improve the product". Here's what that means in practice.
What we collect
Nothing. CuteCard has no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking, and we don't run any servers that receive your data.
Your scripts and recordings
Your scripts are stored on your Mac, and recordings are saved to your Movies folder. When you pair an iPhone, scripts go directly from your Mac to your iPhone over your local network. They are never sent to us.
Camera and microphone
The Mac app asks for camera and microphone access only so it can record video while you read. Recordings stay on your Mac.
Local network
CuteCard uses your local network to find your Mac, pair it with your iPhone and serve the browser remote. Pairing is protected by a 6-digit code.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. We never receive your payment details.
Children
CuteCard doesn't collect data from anyone, including children.
